What ExchangeOS does with your information, and what it deliberately does not claim to be.
ExchangeOS provides organisational and informational assistance for student mobility. It is not an official government, university or Erasmus+ service and is not affiliated with any of them.
It does not replace university staff, Erasmus coordinators, government authorities, immigration lawyers, healthcare professionals or official transport providers.
For visas, residence permits, insurance, healthcare, immigration, university requirements and legal matters, always follow the official source. Where information cannot be verified, the app says so and links to the authority instead of stating a rule.
Estimates (costs, rents, budgets) are labelled as estimates and are never guaranteed prices.
Your account data — profile, tasks, documents, courses, budget, trips and notes — is stored in an access-controlled database where every row is bound to your user account. Other users cannot read it.
Uploaded documents are kept in private storage. Files are only readable through short-lived signed links generated for your own session, and are never publicly addressable.
AI requests send the minimum context needed to answer (destination, dates, task titles and preferences). They are not used to build a public profile of you.
You can export everything you have stored, and you can delete your account data permanently, from Settings inside the app.
You are responsible for verifying any administrative, legal or medical information before acting on it.
Do not upload documents belonging to other people, and do not use the app to store content you are not allowed to hold.
The free plan is usable on its own. Paid features, when enabled, are billed through a payment provider; subscription status is validated on the server.
The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for missed deadlines, refused applications or travel costs.
Account deletion: open the app, go to Settings and choose 'Delete my data'. This removes your stored rows and uploaded files and signs you out.
